They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion. Psalm 84:7 (New International Version)
Climb your ladder! Your ladder. Focus on your goals with the intent of achieving them. Your dreams have been given to you to fulfill; God gave them to you to manifest; You have been endowed for this ascent.
Be consistent! What you have begun to do in the direction of your dreams, do not abandon. You will meet scares, worries, distractions, aches… After you have overcome all -for you will- keep going. Do not slow down for too long, Do not pause forever… Do not stop perpetually.
Climb on.
Maintain balance. Work. Play. Live. Enjoy family, Cherish friends, Pray. Laugh. Study. And work, work, work.
Be brave with your art. Dare to be outstanding. Get outside the boxes; Leave your safe havens; Make mistakes. Plenty of them. Learn from them. Grow. Normal is too ordinary; Average receives no ovations – Who applauds what they might also do? Break barriers. Attack boundaries. Kick off limits. Be unapologetically audacious with your brand.
Blow off the roof!
Be intentional in your output. What exactly does your inner eye envisage? What exactly do you want your audience to see? Practise it. Perfect it. Perform it. In that order.
No unhealthy comparisons – For no two ladders are the same. They may be made for similar tasks But each one is unique.
So… Get a firm grip on your ladder, And make up your mind to get to the next rung And the next And the next…
Your ladder is yours to climb; Don’t sit, stare and become stale. Remove your gaze from all around you. Look high… Far up into the clouds… See? There’s no limit to how far you can reach.
Now, climb your ladder! Go higher! Rise!
