In God’s waiting room
Before Heaven’s garner store
Waiting for my open door
Standing in line for my miracle
His promises are true
He’s in time past come through
This time will not be absurd
So my eyes are on His Word
My confidence is in His integrity
For what He has declared
He is committed to fulfill
I wait…
It’s getting hot in here
But there is a way to escape
And in His time He’ll make it all beautiful
So trusting in His unfailing love
I wait…
And while I wait, I sing
While I wait, I dance
While I wait, I rejoice
While I wait, I hope
While I wait, I rise
I rise to face my trials
With firm squared shoulders
I rise to meet my destiny
And bless the lives around me
I rise above my inner pains
And conquer fear and doubt
I rise to be a testimony
And hear my Lord say “Well done!”
Beyond the opinions of naysayers
Above bitterness and regrets
Against harsh winds and the rain on my face
