Jehovah Ebenezer

Updated: Jan 24

Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble Ecclesiastes 4:9,10 (New Living Translation)

It is okay to feel great;

To feel like you really can handle it.

It is alright to be comfortable with the aura of your own wholeness -

For that is the streak of the 'god' gene in you;

A necessary reminder that 'ye are gods'...

To be found in your own element;

To be in your zone where you are master and king.... god...

It is absolutely wonderful.

The feeling is truly rewarding...

It is also alright to be in need -

For you are still human, no matter how awesome you are.

You still have wants to be supplied, needs to be met, bills to pay, goals to reach, people to take care of....

It is okay to agree you will need some help too.

There is the help that man gives,

And the help that God gives.

They both have their places

And we need both kinds of help in order to survive.

Imagine being left with the responsibility of carrying a very heavy load from one point to another.

Perhaps a weight too heavy for only you to pick up, talk less of transport.

If you beckon on passersby they may share the burden with you; help raise it to your head or shoulder and encourage you as you trudge on.

Some more compassionate friends may share in the arduous journey by pulling or pushing along with you, or lifting one side of the weight while you lift the other, making the process seem easier though still slow and wearying....

Progress is made, friendships are formed, the burden is shared, but the weight remains....

This is the help of man.
