You tried to harm me, but God made it turn out for the best, so that he could save all these people, as he is now doing. Genesis 50:20 (Contemporary English Version)
Joseph lived a considerably comfortable life
He was his father's favourite
He did not join in the hustling in the bush
Running after goats, sheep, cattle
Chasing away lions, wolves, bears...
But one fateful day
His envious brothers roughened him up
Cast him into a dry pit
Pulled him out with a rope
And sold him into slavery....
Cutting short his future as an important heir in his father's estate....
Twisted fate...
He believed he was moving from good to bad
But unknown to Joseph,
He was actually growing from mediocre to great
From his father's porch to Pharaoh's palace
From a confined view to a world view...
Child of God,
When fate is twisted
It bends in your favour.
Just live one more day and you will see.
