Sin is not to be ignored
It is meant to be confessed.
We can never be saved from the sin we ignore and pretend does not exist in us.
We can not afford to continue to speak the grace of Christ over willful weakness of our flesh.
We can not keep on claiming the redemptive work of Christ's blood over sin that we have refused to take responsibility for.
'Continuing in sin for grace to abound' is itself a sin.
However subtly mild or glaringly daring,
Sin is sin before God.
God is not afraid to touch your sin.
But He is willing to lift you above all of it
Only that you have to confess it first.
Ignored sin is like a prickle stuck in your thumb
No matter the volume of tongues you speak
You will always be reminded of it.
The path to victory over sin is confession to God.
He knows about it already
But you must do your part by taking responsibility for it
And coming under His blood.
The sin factor is great
But the grace factor is far greater.
