Mercy Uduma (Sista Mercie) is a writer, music minister and entrepreneur. She grew up as an Anglican pastor’s daughter in Nigeria’s Garden City and started singing classical music along with her twin sister, Grace, at a very early age, under the tutelage of the best Music Directors in the city; The late Rev. L. I. Iroka (St. Paul’s Cathedral) and Alabo (Dr.) C. I. T. Wokoma (Christ Church Interdenominational).
Despite being a pastor’s kid, she got born again in 1996 and has held various leadership positions in Christian youth circles.
Sista Mercie has a deep passion to reach out to Christians with lyrics and tunes that breathe inner strength and personal encouragement. She believes she is called to ‘minister to the saints’.
